Droid-X Factory Ringtones and Notifications

Here you can download ringtones and notifications that I salvaged from my Motorola Droid X phone when I upgraded to the HTC One X Plus.

The HTC One X Plus is a nice phone, but the standard ring sounded to “urgent” and I wanted the standard digital ring from my old phone.

So with a little searching and my rooted Droid X I was able to copy the actual sound files from the system partition to the SD card with the Astro File Manager app.

To save you the trouble of going through all of that, here they are if you want them.

Using them on another phone is easy, no rooting necessary, just copy them to the user ringtone folder and then you can select it from the settings along with the other ringtones or notifications supplied with your phone.
