H&R Block  Tax Software Download – Even 1041’s

Every year I look forward to getting taxes DONE and out of the way, and as usual I used H&R Block tax software download to do the job for all the returns I’m responsible for.

This year I bought the Premium and Business version so I could do some Trust 1041 tax returns.

I prefer having the tax software download for a couple of reasons, partly because I don’t feel I have the right to send other people’s personal data over the wire and into the cloud.

I almost typed “you never know who’s listening”. Unfortunately, I DO KNOW who is listening! But in addition to them, you never know.

Besides that, everything is just going to run faster as I continually pop back and forth not only between screens and forms but even between returns themselves.

H&R Block tax software isn’t perfect, I found a bug or two, but the one time I did have to call them I did not have to wait very long to get a real person on the phone and I did get the problem I needed resolved, resolved.

I know there are a lot of people who file the extension and get their taxes done later in the year for whatever reason, and that’s fine.

For me, I’m ecstatic to get the last returns mailed off at an ever increasing cost at the post office – with return receipt requested and all of that.

H&R Block even does the new Form 8938 for those who need it and the similar Treasury Form TD F 90-22.1. Even though the TD F isn’t due until June 30th, the ones I did are already sent off; why wait?
