The Axis M1031-W network camera, with both wired and wireless connection capability is my current favorite for general purpose video surveillance and monitoring.
The PIR motion sensor and bright LED light to illuminate dark areas is rather unique.
The camera is 640×480, but the price point is right. The Axis 1054 is megapixel but you lose the wireless connectivity (it adds PoE) and costs quite a bit more.

I have been trying to make connection so I can see this camera from home. I have looked to all instruction on how to set up the Axis M1031 Network Camera to my Netophia 3ooo modem (Motorola) do you any easy follow to use instructions.
