What Do You Watch When You Get ‘Netflix Site Error’?
A lot of companies think you should buy all of your entertainment stored “in the cloud”: Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant, Apple everything.
And that can be very convenient, especially if you live in a small apartment or overpriced Texas hill country home with no storage. A few hundred DVD’s and BluRays still take up room even if it is less room than the old VHS tapes.
Of course now Netflix is already cutting down on the number of devices that can simultaneously access the same account meaning families either need other options or pay more (God help us that the family could watch something together, but then again Hollywood puts so much ‘content’ in most everything that makes it uncomfortable to watch as a family).
Last night I did eventually get to watch something on Netflix but I had to try about 5 times before I could get past this “Netflix Site Error”. And I’ve written before about problems getting content on Amazon Prime/Instant.
So when either the web is down, or your entertainment site of choice is experiencing problems, be ready to reach for one of those DVD’s or BluRay’s on the shelf; heck maybe you even still have a VHS player hooked up to your TV!
