PhoneCrypt Desktop Version Free For Windows Users
SecurStar, a German firm long known for privacy and security encryption software has released a free version of PhoneCrypt Desktop for Windows users. It uses 2048 bit encryption, they have a commercial version that uses 4096 bit encryption!
The software will work for voice and chat and is compatible with a (non-free) Apple Mobile IOS version of their product.
In order to use the software you must have setup a free account with the company, as well as the party you want to connect to. Yes, it’s a lot like Skype, only SECURE (Skype is NOT).
According to the website, the software can even deal with lousy internet connections.
