Now Your Small Business Can Easily Accept Credit Cards With A Smartphone

Intuit QuickBooks For Small Business

Intuit Credit Card Processing
I wrote in an article over at OnlineBackupSpot.com that I was impressed that a small business owner doing pool repair in our area was one of the few home based businesses I had come across who could take my Discover card.

QuickBooks (owned by Intuit) now makes it easy to integrate credit card payments while you are on the go into your business accounting system.

Since I spent so many years programming and consulting on computerized accounting systems, I find this a very cool feature.

Yes, there are other independent services that allow you to plug the same kind of device into your smartphone to accept credit card payments but they invariably hookup to a dreaded PayPal account or otherwise charge you higher fees.

The advantage to the GoPayment feature from QuickBooks is that it all integrates seemlessly into your accounting system. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Small Business owners need software that makes accounting easy for them so they can concentrate on making sales, delivering products and services and making customers happy. Not spending a bunch of time on debits and credits.

Intuit pretty much owns the entire computerized accounting software market anymore, having bought up smaller contenders.

Fortunately, they make it easy to run your business on their accounting platform.

If you would like to learn more about the GoPayment addition to Intuit QuickBooks Small Business Accounting so you can take credit card payments on your smartphone, then click here now. I think your bottom line will appreciate it!

I have not used it, just seen it used. Seems really slick and removes pretty much any objection as to why they can’t pay you!

      thanks for stopping by.

This wasn’t around when I was a milkman back in college! I can see plenty of great applications for this technology. Great post.

Take payments on the fly that automatically integrate with your bookkeeping system. Another brilliant idea and concept I didn’t think of. Great information!

would love to have had this back when I had my business – so much better to collect the payment when you are at the client’s home rather than mail off the bill and wait, maybe have to mail it a second time and wait…..

When I was doing yard work and removal for folks around town this would have come in real handy…technology sure has come a long way…..how many times did I not get paid…well to many and never made the bank back then……it was so barbaric in the old days…:)

Yeah, I did lots of yard work back in the day too. If they aren’t going to lay down cash on the spot, better to say “no problem” when they try to weasel out by saying all they have is plastic!

This may come in useful for my eBay shop as not every customer wants to use Paypal. I will have to look further.
